I had a c section over 3 years ago and pretty consistently throughout this pregnancy I have had a lot of pressure on my c section scar (starting around 22 weeks). Now it really feels like the baby is pushing her head up against the scar like she thinks it is the exit. Has anyone else experienced this? My midwife said that it is probably just the scar tissue stretching but I am worried that the baby isn't going to find my cervix as the actual exit. Is anyone else having this experience or have you had it in the past?

I've felt pressure but I've never really felt his head on my scar.

Has she dropped yet? Or is she still high? Her head may just be bumping it.

She has not dropped yet but I feel like she is trying to. When I stand up the pressure on my scar is incredible. I am okay if I am sitting down or lying down though. It really feels like she is trying to use it as an exit. That is the only way I can describe it.

ETA: Today is the first day that I have really felt it all day any time that I am standing. It used to just be when I was exercising or if I had been standing a long time. Today it feels more constant so I thought I would ask.

If its just pressure really then what my ob said to me may be helpful

I asked him about a burny pressure feeling I'd been having where my scar is. I was paranoid about uterine rupture. He said that i wouldn't feel anything from the internal scar and what i am feeling is from the external scar stretching and ripping a bit, and that it was normal.

Okay, thank you for responding. I would feel a little better if she was pushing her head down toward my cervix. I imagine a little dialogue going on like

"La la la I think pushing my head up against an exit seems like a good idea. This place seems like a good spot. WHAM WHAM PUSH!!!!!"

If he tries to come before my did then yes. But have a section booked on my did if i dont go into labour.

Going by my first labour and history of pelvic issues I'm not as likely to succeed

I hope that it works out for you if you want it. It is nice that you have an end date of your due date if he doesn't want to come out before then.
