So I woke up this morning and the bed was spinning. I got up and so far I've been able to feed and dress my two year old but I still feel ridiculously dizzy. I ate 2 pieces of peanut butter toast, 1/2 and banana, and have had about 3 glasses of water/Gatorade but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Would you call the OB at this point or is this just normal? I'm not really worried about high blood pressure since my BP was 90/60 3 days ago at my appointment. I've thought about low pressure but not sure what I would do about it..... Blah, if the room would just stop spinning that would be awesome.....

If you are still feeling that bad after eating & being up for so long, I'd call the dr. They might tell you to just lay down or they might want you to come in. It's way better to be safe!! Keep us posted.

I have Meniere's Disease which causes vertigo and room spinning issues. I've had it under control with meds this pregnancy but the last 3-4 days it's been OUT OF CONTROL awful. All room spinning really is... is fluid imbalance. You could be too hydrated, not hydrated enough, have eaten too much salt recently, etc. However, at this stage of pregnancy I'd call for sure.

Ditto everyone else- a call is easy enough to make to ease everyone's minds.

I had occasional dizziness a few weeks ago, but I think I was just dehydrated. It wasn't that severe though.

I would call for sure and see what your doctor says. I hope that you start to feel better, that sounds scary.

Hopefully it's not a big deal, but better safe than sorry!

How did you make out? I get that because my pressure runs around 80/50 when pregnant. They usually make me drink more...I try to stay hydrated, because that can affect pressure too, but it is so hard....All I do is drink! Hope you are feeling better!

I would call the doctor if it doesn't go away. I hope it's nothing. KUP

So I decided to drink a bunch more water and give it an hour and see where I was. That's when it started to turn into a light headache instead but that has since gone away too. By afternoon I felt much better and I'm wondering if it was a dehydration thing. I went to the grocery store and checked my BP just for kicks tonight and it was 113/77 so totally fine there by this evening but it might have been lower this morning when I first got up (my OB appointment where it was low was first thing at 8:30am). Thank you so much for all the thoughts!!!
