With the baby clothes. This is my second daughter but I didn't have any baby clothes saved. I went to a consignment sale last weekend and now that I have washed and organized everything I think I went a little overboard.

With my first daughter we had maybe 5-10 outfits in each size and that worked well for us. I am pretty sure that I have about 3 times that this time. Everything at the consignment sale was just so cute and I couldn't help myself! I did manage to stock up on:

0-3 months
3-6 months
6-9 months

so I will be set for awhile. It was actually really nice to go alone and pick out things for the baby because I feel like this baby and I haven't really had alone time together because my daughter is always around. I was walking around the sale rubbing my belly and thinking about her wearing all the little clothes and it just felt really special. I think that is part of why I went a little overboard, I just really loved the time focusing on her.

I have a drawer full (a good size drawer) of newborn and 0-3, in ONLY gender neutral lol. I have tubs in the garage of gender specific clothes in those sizes and up. I can only imagine how much worse it would have been had I known the gender, it stopped me many times form buying things lol.

Nothing wrong with that! Just means you won't need to do laundry as frequently. Glad you got some quality time with her.

I haven't actually bought anything myself yet. I have stuff that was given to me, some of it hand me downs and some of it new. I have even gone through some of it and gotten rid of a some of it because I just didn't like it or knew I wouldn't use it for whatever reason, and I still think I have about 10x more stuff than I will need. And I know that my mom, cousin, and grandmother at least have more for me.

Glad you enjoyed your shopping spree and had quality time with baby. I like to sit in the nursery and look in his closet and imagine him in all the cute outfits I have bought!

This is impressive!!!!! I have zero, zip, zilch willpower when it comes to her cloths! I mean absolutely NONE! lol. Every time I walk into a store I walk out with at least one outfit and usually hair bows. lol. I really need an intervention!
