I have a tender spot in my upper abdomen. It's on the right side at the very top of my abdomen. I know that the doctor wanted me to keep an eye out for pre-eclampsia signs but the pain in my upper abdomen is the only sign I'm having. I don't want to go to the hospital and it be nothing, but I also don't want to miss something. What would you do?

ohhh thats tough... I know that its annoying, but I would air on the side of caution and call the doc.

I keep getting tender spots where baby kicks persistently, when it gets very tender I put some arnica gel on it and it helps tremendously.

I actually asked my midwife if the uterus can become bruised when baby kicks in one spot a lot, and she said she gets that question a lot and it most definitely can lol.

I never got any of these tender spots with my daughter, so even as a BTDT mom my reaction was "what the crap is this!?" lol

I had pain in the same place last week. I also had super swollen ankles and feet. So I was a bit worried about pre-e, but I didn't call my OB because my blood pressure was good. Baby has changed position, and that spot doesn't hurt anymore, and my feet aren't quite as swollen. But you never know! Give doc a call if you are concerned.

It comes and goes, so I'm thinking it's from baby kicking me.

I have a spot that is killing me. He keeps kicking or rubbing or something there. It is very tender and I assume bruised. I had a spot with my son too a different place but same feeling. I don't recall that with my daughter
