Just started my 2nd 24hr urine catch. I feel there will still be no protein in my urine, I'm just hoping this is the last time I have to do this. It leaves me feeling somewhat like a potty training toddler peeing in the hat provided.

Anyways, I realized that I forgot to share a funny from the last catch I did (maybe I did share...I just don't remember). So, last time I had my jug in the fridge as I was told to keep it cold. My middle son, being ALL about anything food related saw the jug and asked his daddy, "Dad, can I have some of this juice here?" Husband quickly answers "No!, that is NOT juice, it's mom's and it's urine." My oldest son quickly chimes in with great concern in his voice, "Mom has to drink URINE now?!" Haha! Hubby told them that I was having to save my pee in the jug and take it to the doctor, not sure they still understand the concept they think mommy is a total weirdo right now

LOL...oh man, funny stuff! Sorry you're having to do it again, though. Hopefully it'll be clear, and you won't have to do it again.

*LOL* I love it... And I feel your pain.. I had to do 3 24 hour urine catches and it becomes ridiculous somewhere in the middle of the 1st.. half asleep at 4am trying to pour from the hat into the jug... GOOD TIMES!

By the way I didnt have a chance to tell you how cool your signature pic is! I love it!

We have a two story house, last time hubby brought the cooler and some ice upstairs to our room so I didn't have to go up and down the stairs to put the jug in the fridge. We will be doing that again tonight.

Thanks! (about the siggie pic)

Im so glad I haven't had to do it this time around. I did it with DD and was working at a childcare center, I couldn't keep it in the fridge with all the kids foods so I used a cooler and kept it with me at all times. Could you imagine one of the kids getting ahold of that, lol?!

I don't know what it is (well yes, I do - I'm the one with bodily function issues), but this test has to be my least favorite. I had to do it with my last pregnancy, and I just find it absolutely disgusting. And then to have to store it in my fridge...yuck!! Anyhow, I hope yours comes back fine and that you don't have to do any more of them! I think my sister had to do 3-4 this pregnancy.

It seems to me that for as advanced as we are in certain things, there should be a better way to be able to test for this!
