Ok so the doc said I have pregnancy carpel tunnel. I am going to go buy a brace tomorrow. It's always bad at night but today it hurts a lot. Anyone know if I can take anything to help? I am gonna take some Tylenol to see if that helps.
At this point, I don't think there is much you can do other then Tylenol. I had it terribly with both pregnancies. This time I had my right hand injected with steroids at 28ish weeks and my left at 30 or 32 weeks. I just couldn't take it anymore. What you really need is an anti-inflammatory/ steroid, but you are so far along that it is probably not worth it. (Maybe the brace will help??) All the swelling is compressing the median nerve which passes through the carpal tunnel. Its awful! But the good news is, after you have the baby and the swelling goes away, it will go away! Hugs to you!! I know it hurts!
