Of course my kids caught a cold this close to my due date! David, my 3yo, has it the worst. The poor thing has this thick cough that hurts him. He is worse at night, and other than the cough is eating, playing, etc normally so while I'm not too worried, I'm thinking I need to run him to the doctor today and make sure it's not trying to settle in his lungs or something. I wonder if there is some type of prescription expectorant that might be able to help loosed up the crud in his chest? The last thing I need is to bring a baby home with him coughing all over the place. I was going to install the car seat in the van this week, but have left it in the box where it's safe from germs instead.

Ugggh...hope it all clears up soon. I would definitely take him in to be safe. Water is actually a really good expectorant. Hopefully everyone will get healthy before the baby comes!
