Keeping him away is proving impossible. He is so in love and doesn't understand that he is sick and could make the baby sick. He wants to touch her head and hands and help with diapers and burping etc. and he just doesn't get it. It's hard because I don't want to keep telling him no and drive him away from his sister. UGH!
We've had to be careful here, too. Charlie started coughing the day Samuel was born. He hasn't had a fever or runny nose, though, thank goodness. We have just done lots of hand sanitizer and hand washing, and when the cough was at its worst we had Charlie wear a mask over his mouth and nose.
