The day that I delivered (4/5) my sister sent me a picture of her BFP!!! This is exciting news, but when I got the text, I was half asleep, in the hospital, and still feeling loopy from the epi. I responded nicely, but nothing over the top, and I hadn't really mentioned it since for a few reasons. First, my (half) sister is 43, and had multiple miscarriages, and even she admits that the chance of this pregnancy sticking is slim to none. As she says, she is enjoying being pregnant while it lasts, and, although it would be amazing for us to both have babies within a year, she is content just being an aunt.
I finally brought it up today, and she is still being realistic about the situation, but she has already been to the Drs and is starting to make plans if this pregnancy continues! I don't want to get too excited (she is only 7 weeks) but I just had to share with someone. My little girl might actually have a cousin to grow up with!!!
**My sister will be 12 weeks in two days! This is the longest she has ever been pregnant! She has an ultrasound nest Thursday, and hopefully we will know more about how viable this pregnancy is! I really couldn't be more excited!**
