Have you had an opportunity to get your baby all dressed up for something? What did they wear? What was the occasion?

We had him baptized. We didn't really dress him up because he was only a week old. My MIL bought him this fancy satin suit but I refused to put him in it. He just wore a white footie instead
The first time he will dress up will be for my SIL wedding in September.

I dress him in actual outfits (as opposed to sleeper type outfits) but nothing fancy. I can't imagine anything fancy for awhile

She is dressed almost everyday. If I'm having a bad morning and am super tired I will just do something simple like a onsie but she is almost always dressed in an outfit with matching socks and a headband/bow. Next week while I am at my mom's we are taking her to get some pics done at about the same age I had pics when I was a baby wearing the same fancy dress that I wore.

We put Anna in a fancy dress on mother's day. It was a preemie dress that we had for Grace but never got to use. So I figured we ought to get at least some use out of it! She wore it to church.

We almost always do outfits, much to the dismay of my mother-in-law. She was complaining because I had his coming-home outfit on for my hubby's graduation (khakis and a button-down shirt). She thinks that it is silly to have separate pieces for babies, and she told me I should have put him in a sleeper for the day. Ummmm, NO!!
