Is it bad that my kiddo is mostly in a semi reclined position? He sleeps in his carseat some everyday, if not in his carseat he is napping in his swing. Then at night he is sleeping in a rock n play type thing where he is not flat on his back either. During the day when he isnt sleeping, I am either holding him or he is on his back on his playmat.

Should he be sleeping on his back at night?

Do your babies spend most of their time not flat?

Eh don't worry about it. L sleeps on his belly all night every night. Any other naps are in his swing and we have it so it sits up instead of lies back.

Mine sleeps in the rock and play all the time or her swing...it works, when it gets uncomfortable for them, they will let you know!

I think the main thing to look out for is a flat spot developing on the back of their head, so keep an eye out for that. I try to get one nap a day with baby sleeping on me while I recline and watch the Price is Right.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Anna's usually only flat on her back at night.

Darion HATES to lay flat on his back. So he sleeps most of the time in his rocker/recliner chair. It keeps him semi reclined.
