I've discovered that sending my kids to day care wears them out. Xavier nursed as soon as we got home, and he's been asleep since. Katie fell asleep on the floor of my room just after 7:30. If you knew my kids, you would understand how surprising this is. Of course, they are both used to long naps, and his were no longer than 30 minutes at a time today, and she only got 1 1/2 hours (she's used to 3+).

I have my lo sleeping in a rock and play still, I think it actually prevents her from rolling over. I put her flat as often as I can during the day, but it makes her so refluxy... I am debating trying to put her on her back overnight tonight, but so afraid of loss of sleep. It's the one thing I do terrible with. She sleeps right now from 9-5 or a little more/less, but scared to have the less part!!!

I'm getting a respiratory virus. Blah. I want to curl up in bed. Alone. And sleep for a long time. Next best thing is curling up with a sleeping baby on the couch with a blanket, which is what I'm doing.

Thanks! I am feeling better. Anna is not herself today, though.

Worn out! But at least I got in a workout today. It's a challenge to find time, with DH on first shift and him being home in the evenings.

So...a couple of weeks ago DH and Grace came home from Wal-mart with a fish. Ugh! That is the LAST thing I would have ever picked as a pet for a 3 year old. We had talked about it before, and he knew I didn't think it was a good idea, but it was one of those things that, once he got it in his head, he wasn't going to let it go. THEN...last week he bought another one. Sigh. They're both bettas, so they have to be in separate bowls/tanks. All I can say is he is the one that gets to feed them/clean the tanks. I have enough going on, and it's all I can do to keep all of the humans fed, clothed, bathed, dressed, house clean, etc.

Wow...this month has just flown right by! I guess being back at work and having a busier schedule has really made time fly even more quickly. Can't believe August is just around the corner. Before we know it, we'll all be thinking about our babies' first Christmas!
