Easily Monopoly.. It's been my favorite since I was VERY VERY young. My siblings and I (aside from my youngest sister) used to be so ridiculously competitive playing that game. We would form business alliances with people and give them special breaks on our property if they did the same to us. Or if we came across a property that they wanted we would give a discount when they landed on our property for a certain amount of times or until the end of the game. *lol* My mother would get so mad at us all of the time and leave the game because we played it like our life depended on it.
We would have monopoly parties and have 10-12 people playing at once. We were crazy about that game.
Would have to say Clue! or maybe Life, though I haven't played either in a really long time. No one ever wants to play with me. Maybe I should make DH play a game soon, lol.
My brothers and I use to play Monopoly alot and kinda like MsRK we had our own set of rules. Sometimes our games would last days, we would just pack them up in zip lock baggies and write down were everything was. We made up special $1000 bills because we would run out of money long before we were done.
I like Balderdash and another favorite that isn't really a board game since there's no board, but is really fun is Apples to Apples. Last time I played any board games was with my family a couple Christmases ago. Well other than Candyland and Chutes and Ladders which I play with the boys
