L had mommy and daddy in tears today and screamed like he never has before. We were at a BBQ and he fell asleep after nursing so I set him down inside a covered porch about 15 feet from where we were sitting. All of a sudden I hear him screaming so I run over to him and he's on his back with throw up all over his face gurgling and struggling. I flipped him over and patted his back while he worked it out. I was so scared and so was he. He continued to scream a high pitched scream for about 10 minutes while I just cuddled him. Makes me never want to leave him ever. This is exactly why (besides loving our night time cuddles) he doesn't sleep in his own room.
oh how scary! thankfully Cora has only done that in the car so she didn't choke too bad but its so sad to see them so upset and covered in puke and I totally agree about sleep arrangements, there have been several times when she'd start spitting up in her sleep and I was very grateful to be right next to her. terrifying hugs to mama and baby
