So Lilly was born with a little hair not much but a little... some of it fell out like normal then it stopped and started coming back well now it's falling out again.. how many times does this happen? When do they start getting their actual hair?

This next question is not due to lack of care. we give Lilly a bath every other night, but it seems she always smells like spoiled formula I wipe under her neck and behind the ears is it just me or do any other LOs have an issue sometimes?

Under her nails get sooo dirty even when cut short odd for a little one that can't do much yet!

Their hair falls out for awhile. I was completely bald until 4

L's feet and under his neck are always punky and I wipe him down a few times a day. Babies sweat a lot. L is a very hot baby and is always clammy.

I keep L's nails short and there is dirt under them too. Not sure how there is always dirt since he's not even crawling on the ground lol.

Yeah, I don't know for sure about the hair. Grace had nearly no hair until after she was 1, so I never noticed the falling out & growing back. But at some point it'll stop falling out.

We also do wipe-downs between baths. I actually don't even give her a full bath every other day...maybe twice a week at most. But we wipe down, especially face and neck, in between.

And the fingernails...yeah, they get dirt under them. I think it's from all the grabbing, clawing, etc. they do...every time they claw at their own skin or someone else's, or any object, a little bit of dirt gets under there, and it just builds up. I'm constantly cleaning out dirt from her fingernails.

I haven't noticed R's hair falling out. She was born with some, not a whole lot, and more on the back lower part of her head than anywhere else. Like I said I have noticed any falling out, maybe a LITTLE on the top but mostly I am noticing that it seems to be turning red. Poor girl she is going to be so out of place in my family of blonde headed children, lol.

She gets a bath every couple of days, and then I wipe her down between. Sometimes I do little 'half' bathes, where I just wash her little butt because it seems to help her stay more comfortable.

OMG at the dirt! and she hates me messing with her nails. She has to be almost passed out asleep for me to do any trimming or anything.

I'm not sure how all that works. I do know that it does not always stay the color they were born with and R was born with dark brown hair and it seems to be getting redder everyday.

Not necessarily. I had blond hair until I was 3 or 4, and then it turned brown. And DH was also blond as a kid and now has brown hair. So I wouldn't be surprised if Grace's blond hair turned brown eventually. Anna seems to have darker hair than Grace, but we'll see where she ends up.

I don't know about the hair because Mr. Fuss came out with MAJOR hair and it's just getting longer and longer.

You will always have to do wipe downs because milk dribbles everywhere, especially their neck area. I wipe him down with a wash cloth and soap or baby wipes a few times a day.

Also his nails are always dirty.. I don't know WHERE the dirt comes from..

Cole had a ton of hair when he was born. A lot fell out on top, and now it's growing back in nicely. I hope it just continues to grow!

I wipe his neck and face throughout the day because of milk, especially under his chin, because it does start to smell. I give him a bath every other day as well.

As others have mentioned I have no idea about the dirt! I'm glad it's not just my baby, because I also wondered how the heck it gets there!
