I know we've had at least one or two babies in here who've had teeth come through. Who has teeth already? How did they do with teething? Did you do anything special for them to help ease them through it?

L has one just coming through the gums, its taking its sweet time. My poor baby. He's fine most of the time and then starts chomping on his hands or toys and it must make it hurt more because he starts screaming. It's not crying its a blood curdling "ooooowwwwww" scream. The other night was 15 minutes straight of it and I was bawling. He is fine most of the time though, it seems to be every few hours for a short period of time that it really bothers him.
He wears an amber necklace and we've been putting clove oil on it every few hours.

The nurse suggested getting a washcloth wet, put it in the fridge and let the baby chew on that. Apparently they love that!

I am going to try the cold washcloth trick. No teeth yet, but I have a little drool monster and he likes to stick his entire fist into his mouth!
