I was just wondering if anyone has chosen to switch their child's doctor?
His initial one didn't take me seriously with the need for surgery. When he had gas issues he gave him Zantac. He told me to put extra ounce of water in bottle for constipation then added miralax! My first request before all of this was formula change. That was denied (need prescription for it).
So, now he's on the Nutramigen. I'm proud to say no more Zantac, Miralax, (new doctor said use less water instead of more) and he's so much happier now that he can poo!
I regret waiting so long to get a second opinion, but I'm glad I did
We did switch. Took him once to a local pedi and couldn't stand the office. We changed to a holistic pedi farther away and visited once just to have him established there and love it. We don't do well visits though so he will only go when sick.
Glad he's feeling better, and that you're happier with this pediatrician! We did switch peds with Grace after her first couple of appointments, but not because we had problemswith the first one. We just wanted to ho elsewhere, and we've been happy.
