I sing both my kids the lullaby my grandmother made up (or so the rumor goes) and has been passed down. I actually had MommysPocket make up the first line as a vinyl wall decal that I've been trying to get up in completion for a week now! (I'll post a pic when it's up- so cute!)
You're my baby, I love you
You're my sweetheart, true and true
Someday you'll grow up
And happy you'll be
Because little (or big boy) firstname middlename is my baaa-byyyy
Not really with Anna yet (not sure why not), but I sing with Grace every night. We sing a lot of different songs, but always the last two songs of the night are twinkle twinkle little star, then I'm a little teapot. She knows it's time to get in bed after that...she doesn't even question it. I don't know how that started or why it's that way; it just is.
Are you pumping for your little one? Planning to pump?

I don't sing him to sleep at night, but we're always singing funny made up songs. He also likes Itsy Bitsy Spider, Puff the Magic Dragon, Wagon Wheel by Old Crow Medicine Show, and Simple Man by Lynard Skynard.
I do sing the Lullaby and Goodnight song to Brooklyn at night, although we don't know all the words, so we la-la-laa.
~Thank you AlexAiden Mommy for this beautiful siggy~
