For the past, maybe, three weeks I have been getting migraines constantly. Probably every two or three days I have a new one. I keep trying to figure out if I have been doing anything differently to cause them. I thought maybe it was aspartame, but I haven't had any of that for a while, so I don't think that was it. I'm wondering if it is just postpartum hormones. Is anyone else having issues with headaches? Normally I get a migraine about once every six months or so.
Oh man...that stinks. I used to get them a lot, and my triggers were lack of sleep, stress (I'd often get one after the stress was relieved and I had a chance to relax, like after a big test), changing patterns (eating, sleeping, etc), and hormones. I hope you can get it figured out! Have you consideredtrying to get on some kind of preventative med?

I used to have chronic daily migraines. I've tried every preventative med there is. The ONLY thing that has worked is vitamin b2 400mg once daily. Just thought I would pass it along. After trying blood pressure meds which made it so I couldn't even walk up the stairs into my own house I find it crazy that a vitamin is what helped the most. I still get migraines a few times a month but nothing compared to every day. I also wear an amber necklace which I have found to help too. I see a chiro as needed and get massages too. Mine stem from a certain area in my neck so I use a still point inducer to press on that area when I get one. Hot showers, walk in the fresh air, ibuprofen, and sometimes coffee also take the edge off for me. I feel your pain and hope they ease up.
Ouch, migraines are no fun. I used to get them somewhat regularly and my biggest triggers were disrupted sleep cycles and changing sugar/ caffeine intake. I hope that you can figure out the cause. I'm not sure if you are nursing, but if you are not (or you are willing to pump and dump) I find the excedrin migraine medicine to be really helpful and inexpensive.
I get them a lot, but I always have, so it wouldn't be unusual for me to have them now. I just had one that lasted 3 days, and I think it was from my neck, but I have found a few things that trigger them. I've always gotten one before AF. I used to take Propranolol daily with Maxalt as needed. That helped a lot & I had no problems with it, but I stopped taking it before I got pregnant with Brooklyn. Then I started seeing the chiropractor a few times a week, and that helded immensely.

Yes, I was getting *daily* migraines. I was fine during my pregnancy with maybe a few bad ones. My doctor was so concerned that she wanted to make sure I wasn't having seizures. Luckily, that's not what it was. I was also super tired, no motivation and cranky lol I'm now on Lyrica and it has worked wonders!!!
