Ryder still needs to be swaddled. We tried a few naps and a night without swaddling him and it was a nightmare. I'm worried he's too old to be swaddled and that it might be interfering with his development somehow( I just read about that online)

Opinions?

I think plenty of babies are still swaddled at 6 months, so I think you're fine. My son was swaddled until around 4-5 months I think? I had to stop Ingrid sooner than planned because she was rolling and I needed her to have her hands free to help lift her head. I was very surprised at how well she did! I think she only had one night of semi-fitful sleep and then she slept like it was no biggie in her sleep sack.

Good luck!

I responded to this the other day, but I guess it got "eaten" during the technical difficulties that were going on.

We're still swaddling, because even though Anna has rolled over during the day, she has not done so at night yet. Once she does, we'll stop. With Grace, I think that was around 4-5 months, though I don't remember for sure. My sister swaddled my niece until nearly 12 months, and she never had developmental problems. I think you're fine.
