I don't really have any specific advice--we've never used a rock and play. But, I guess you could just try putting her in the crib and see how it goes. If she's already napping in it, hopefully it would be a smooth transition. When we transitioned Grace to the crib it went pretty well. At first I'd rock/nurse her to sleep and then put her in the crib. Eventually she would not want to nurse to sleep--I'd lay her down sleepy. Sometimes she'd go right to sleep, and other times it took longer. I'd stay with her until she went to sleep--rubbing her back/tummy, singing to her, etc.
I would bedshare but I just can't for one our bed is just not big enough, two Baer rolls a lot ... she is just getting too big for her rock and play and I want to try to have her sleep in her crib as it's bigger and she can move around i have to get a fan lol she has become accustom to our fan noise (she is one of those babies that needs noise to help her sleep) in our room so I will put one on her windowsill at night
Yes I did it one night she did great! .. me not so much but only because since being in here she has to have a fan because of the noise... we have a noise machine but it isn't the same it's more of a humm and the noise machine is a soother it tends to wake her up after some time ... so we are getting another fan just for her! plus we had to have her door knob fixed because our cat likes to go into each room at night and meow a few times which wakes her lol but it was really good though I think having her sleep in there for naps is what made it that much easier, honestly I think she WANTS to be there because she wants to wiggle and move and sprawl out instead of being cooped in that half reclined seat.hopefully we can get a fan this week!
