So Dylan could be considered colicky, but I've put him on a pretty strict schedule and we've overcome that. He's a very happy baby and I've seen no behavior issues. He's not timid, he's pretty brave, especially when it comes to trying to stand on his own!
I'm a stay at home mom, he only goes to daycare for about 12 hours a week so I can go to classes and when his dad isn't being a jerk, he will go spend time with him so I know his environment.
All of a sudden, last week my daycare lady said when she fluffed a garbage bag and coughed he screamed and cried and was inconsolable for a minute. She said keep an eye on it, so I did. His home environment with me is pretty laid back. Then yesterday he was in his high chair eating a little snack and I fluffed a garbage bag and he freaked out! I had to pick him up to calm him down!
Any ideas? There hasn't been any other noises he's been startled by yet...
I think it's pretty normal at this age. They are so much more aware of their environment and surroundings. If I raise my voice at the dog when it's getting into something it shouldn't be L immediately starts crying. Same with other loud noises, like stomping my feet and such.
Baby A went through a phase where she would cry when the dogs barked. Now she is afraid of the blow dryer. And once she did cry when we fluffed a garbage bag. I don't think it is anything to worry about.
