I'm almost to the point where I feel ready to announce this pregnancy. Maybe next week, after I hit six weeks. I'm feeling pregnant and my line was nice and dark this morning.

I'm not one to come up with cutesy shirts or collages or neat things to make announcements, but I think it would be fun to announce it in a way that makes people think, "What does she mean?" And others will go, "Oh! She's pregnant!"

So... what are some one-liners you can think of?

I think we'll do the big reveal after we're totally through the first tri- even into November. We through a big Halloween party every year and we're hoping to come up with a clever costume theme to exploit the new pregnancy.

My top idea now is Fargo- me as the cop, and hubby and son as the two criminals. I won't be that big yet (I think!) but hopefully everyone will get the point.

I LOVE the queasy line. I also think that anything that references the days or weeks would be subtle enough- everyone knows 9 months, but the weeks can throw people off and requires a little more thought!

I made a video with a slide show and music of the past few years of dh and I, and at the end I had a video of the digi test. Sadly the video was looong and hardly anyone watched til the end. So I used the video that dh took of us hearing Isaac's hb for the first time on my doppler at at home, at 8 weeks 4 days. Everyone figured it at that point, plus it's a beautiful sound.

I'm not planning on telling it to everyone on FB until I'm like 6-7 months along if I can manage to get other people (cough *SO* cough) to keep it quiet that long. Then I'm just going to post a picture of the bump, and say something like "*** did I eat last night?!"

I am going to make t-shirts for my 2 sons and myself. my oldest will have a 1, my youngest will have a 2, and I will have a 3 on mine when my belly gets bigger! A friend of mine did this and I loved it so she said I could steal it!

I'm telling my close family this week or next, but I can't do a big FB reveal until after I go for a job interview. Not legal to discriminate against someone for being pregnant, but that doesn't stop people. Since it's an internal interview, and all my friends are my co-workers, you guys can see my dilemma! I'm also thinking about a clever Halloween Party reveal, especially since my birthday is November 1 and it's always a combo Halloween/Birthday party.
