While on bed rest I'm eating anything and everything in the house. Feel like a cow! However, I have found an interesting combination: potato chips and yogurt. Today it is blueberry yogurt. The salty/sweet mix is really doing it for me.

I know! I've never gotten to experience the whole "pickles and ice cream" type phenomenon while pregnant. Oh well...
And it does sort of sound like George has dropped. Hope she stays put, though.

I've never really had any "odd" cravings, either. The oddest one, or at least so others tell me, is orange juice and ice cream. I blend them together like a milkshake without the added milk. I'm telling you - it's tasty!! I first had something like it years and years ago at Disney, and I re-created it with my first pregnancy.

No weird cravings for me either. In fact i'm almost feeling like a revival of good old morning sickness. Nothing sounds good, I'm really having aversions again. I feel like I want to barf all the time. I think I might need to up my snacks maybe the baby is just more hungry and I'm not eating enough.

Well George has definitely dropped. My best friend *insists* on weekly belly pics. I had sent her one on Monday but I sent her another one today and she was like O_O *gulp* I'd be afraid of going poop if I was you! One good push and George might slide into the toilet!!

That sounds good to me! There used to be a shop in the mall here (many years ago) that did that. I think they're yummy.

I've had a little bit of nausea coming back here and there, too. Luckily nothing terrible so far, and just one vomiting episode in the third trimester so far.

So...when I was pumping last time around, I had this awesome hands-free pumping bra (well, more than one) from LLLi, and I wanted to look it up today because I want to get at least one more. I really liked that particular one, because it can be worn as an actual bra under my work clothes, and doesn't require me to take off my shirt, change bras, etc every time I need to pump. Pumping is enough of a hassle, and that would be just one more thing. It also functions as a nursing bra, and the part that holds the breast shields in place folds down all the way to allow for nursing. I looked at literally every option last time, including all of the home-made suggestions of using a sports bra, some sort of rubber band conptraption, etc. This bra was the only one that did everything I wanted. ANYWAY...the web page is blocked on my work computer LOL...I guess because it is "intimate apparel." Funny. Guess I'll just do that later.

LOL...I know, if I don't do something right when I think about it, I'm likely to forget. I did remember to look up the bra, though.
I'm making one more casserole tonight to put in the freezer, and then I think I'm done. I have a poppyseed chicken casserole, a lasagna casserole (w/gluten free pasta), two containers of chili, some sausage-egg-cheese casserole "muffins," and tonight I'm making a paprika chicken & rice casserole. I guess I could potentially make more, but I doubt I will.

Way to go on the freezer prep! I have not gone there yet at all. I feel pretty well prepared in most every other way though so I guess there is that. My son's birthday party is this weekend and I feel like after that I can get the freezer cooking going and the carseat in. I think that's all I have left...

Birthday parties seem to take up a lot of my time/energy. I felt like I couldn't really focus on baby stuff until Grace's party was out of the way.
We still need to buy the car seat. I think that's on the agenda for this weekend.

You know your in rough shape when you lay in bed at 1:30 in the afternoon debating whether taking a shower or making lunch is the best use of the little energy you have, and you know your not going to be able to be out of bed long enough to do both.

I find that being on bed rest makes me more tired. At least when you are active, your own energy kind of keeps you moving. It can be a vicious cycle!!

Sorry you're not doing well, Anja!
So what are you going with? Lunch, or shower?

Such nice weather today! We went to the park this morning, spent some time outside letting Grace play with her buddy down the street, and now we're about to take a walk. Windows have been open all day. I LOVE this weather!
