Congrats, mama! What a great story. It's great that your mother was able to be by your side the whole time (and obviously your DH!)
I like how detailed you describe the pain. That's something you can never prepare for until its happening to you. The good part is, the pain is only temporary! (But forever your gonna think back and cringe at the thought of contraction pain!)
But anyways... Enjoy little Darion. He is so sweet, and all that hair!!! Wishing you an easy recovery and best wishes as you head home.

Thank you so much everyone for all of the kind words. We are now home as of 5pmish today and I'm BEAT!

I was having a little trouble at first getting my milk to come in but the nurses worked with me with some manual expression and I pumped after every feeding and now its starting to flow very well! I'm so happy.. I was getting worried there for a few. But its a work in progress.

Mom met us at the door and shooed us upstairs to rest and brought us dinner.
I fed darion again and now he is downstairs happily sitting with my mother and I'm going to get some much needed sleep now.

I'm adding some more pics to my website when I get a few moments of lucid thought.

I just wanted to pop in and say how much your words meant to me and I'm glad that I could share my story with all of you. Now I'm excited to hear all of your stories soon!
