I forgot to ask about this with my last post. Recently the bottom of my baby bump is swollen painful and fluid filled... Sometimes it looks like i have testicles hanging off of my belly... No joke, and its fricken gross! My OB says its nothing to worry about that its perfectly normal and common in late pregnancy, that i have adema of the lower abdominal wall.. It hurts just to have my clothes rub on it its miserable! Anybody have any experience with this or advice?

Never heard of it! Sorry that you have to deal with it, sounds not fun..

I had edema in my first pregnancy but it only affected my extremities. Sounds like itd be awful though

Yeah i have never heard of it in the abdomen before... I guess it makes sense, i mean the way she explained it was since my skin is so taught there that the lymphatic system isn't able to work properly and drain any fluid out of my belly... I guess it is just going to keep getting worse until the little guy makes his appearance on the outside and gives my body a little elasticity again :/
