Well I have been wondering the same thing. It seems as though it is the 2 of us most days.
I am a bit confused about the purpose of this tread doesnt it do the same as our what we are doing today post?

Not really. We can talk about whatever we want here rather than specifically what we're doing. A TV show we liked, a new recipe somebody tried, how quiet the board is these days... Just whatever. It isn't topic specific at all. Just chatter.

Ok!

What is your favorite show to watch in the evening? What type of shows are you drawn to?

I watch a lot of stuff. CSI (original only), Bones, Survivor, Sherlock Holmes, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, The Mentalist, Numb3rs, House, etc. We have DVR so I just record them and watch them after the kids are tucked in for the night or another day when they're napping. It seems like a lot, but when you spread it out over 7 nights it actually isn't.

What kind of shows are you in to?

I DVR!
Days of our lives is the only day show, Dr.Phil, Oprah are my standbys. I never to get to see them so I dvr for nights and weekends when nothing is on.
Evenings, NCIS, The Unit, Law and Order(all variations), Mentalist, Greys, Private Practice.... Drama definitely!

I used to watch Law & Order (all of them) until I had kids. Now they all really bother me, especially SVU. It's like the commercials alone can give me nightmares for a week. Who knew having kids could change your TV beyond morning cartoons?

oh goodness tell me about it! What do you think about the Sandra Cantu case, that makes me ILL! I cant believe a woman a mother would rape and kill a child like what happened to that baby!

I also LOVE Hell's Kitchen and almost everything on Food network and HGTV...

Cases like Casey and Cantu tend to bring out my darker and more profane side. As far as I'm considered anybody that can do that to a child isn't human. They're beyond twisted.

I try to watch Hell's Kitchen, but I keep missing it. Food Network was also a big one for me, but it seems like all they want to show anymore of the shows I like are reruns. I can't watch people like Paula Deen. Her cooking is so unhealthy I'm waiting for her to have a stroke on set.

Paula I dont watch either, something about her and her cooking drives me insane. I love Dinner Impossible with Chef Robert. I DVR that cause I am usually asleep by 10.

Yeah I have no sympathy for people like them. I think they are beyond disturbed!

I heard they brought Irvine back for the new season. I'm really glad and going to DVR it myself. As much as I like Simon he just wants everything to taste like bacon. Irvine mixed it up a bit.

You know how it is with the other side of my family. I'm glad those people are 8+ hours away! I'd rather it were closer to 80, but I'm not sure anywhere is 80 hours away.

It has been really nice. It reminded me that I need to pick up some new sandals for the kids though. Hopefully I'll be able to find something for DD that doesn't have a cartoon or Hannah Montana all over them.
