I have seen many ideas for iftar or ramadan calendars to count down the days. This one looks particularly cute!

Muslimah in Reverie: Ramadan Traditions: Iftar Calendar!

I think I want to make a calendar this year for my son, but I would modify this to be a little more age appropriate for him (3 1/2). I am still working on fleshing out the concept .

Would you make one like this? Or if not, what would you do differently?

Aww it might not be too late I haven't actually made mine yet either lol, just bought some supplies... I don't think mine will involve folding all the little pockets. Some other ones I've seen have basically a sheet of paper or fabric with a little pocket for each day and a counter to move from one pocket to the next (you could put a "surprise" in each pocket).

Welcome to the board too! congratulations on your pregnancy, how is it going?

Here are some other ones I ran across that are a little less involved, and even available for sale if you are not feeling particularly crafty!
