How does the holiday season affect you and any family that are not Muslim?

It doesn't really have any effect on me. I usually don't talk to family on their holidays. If I do, and they happen to say Merry Christmas, or whatever the occasion is, I say," I don't celebrate Christmas, but I appreciate you thinking about me and hope you are having a great time."

we are very thoughtful to the family, we want to teach the children tolerance for others and their beliefs.. always using it to teach what we believe and how it differs
