Got off early to go to the doctor today (which my boss was pissed about it even though she approved it 3 weeks ago, and again for extended time 2 days ago!)

Everything went well... she set my DD at May 4th based on my last cycle even though I told her I O'd on August 13th/14th..... which I thought was weird. She didn't change it. We did an us and the sac was perfect round and we would see a blob in there but it wasn't super clear because their machine is old. So she is sending me in for more blood work tomorrow and a transvaginal US....

Since I spotted after DTD she said I can't have lovin' until we know if this baby is doing okay!

She didn't set me up with any other appointments or for any of the blood screening because she wants to be sure this baby is growing right.

Hopefully I can see a lot more tomorrow!

No I o'd late... she's going off the right in the middle of a 28 day cycle when I ovulated 2-3 days later than that. I'm estimating May 6-7 not too big of a difference but hey. Could explain why the blip was pretty small on the screen.

As for spotting when DTD, I hear that it's pretty normal early in the pregnancy. I have been having the same thing going on. I told my doc about it (my due date is May 5th so I'm about as far along as you), and she said there's pretty much nothing I can do that will cause a m/c, except do drugs, or have a traumatic injury to the pelvic area. So she said a little spotting with sex is fine, it's just due to the cervix being more sensitive and having more blood in the pelvic area to supply to baby. Feel free to go with what your doc says, I'm just relaying what I was told! I hope you can see your little bean again soon!

My doctor really didn't want to listen to me about my O date either! I O'd 2 weeks later than I should have. But, the good thing about that is that because of me disagreeing with DOC, I get to go in today to get my first u/s!

Hey girl, we're in the same situ I think I O'd around the 13th too but based on LMP my EDD is May 2nd. Doctor put my EDD at May 5. Transvag u/s today, hope I get to see that little HB!

Being off even a day or two this early can make a huge difference in what you see on the ultrasound. I hope you get a better look at your bean in your next ultrasound!
