So yesterday (9 DPO) i got a beta done and today they called me up and said "Well, it looks like you are not pregnant, your HCG is only 14.6" Almost all doctor's consider anything over 5 to be pregnant and those that don't at least say over 10! I go in tomorrow too and I'll show them! I think 14.6 is pretty decent for 9 DPO! My pregnancy test is about 3x darker today, so I know my HCG is rising....

thats ridic. if it makes you feel better my doc office was kinda ****** about 22. they were like "oh, this is really really new" we won't know if it's viable until we see that its doubling. No S*** its new, i was like 10DPO and Ive had multiple miscarriages, the whole point was wanting to catch it early!

as long as your tests are getting darker, that is a great sign!

I always thought anything over 5 was positive. With my loss, I had a draw that was 3 and had to go back one more time because the doctor didn't consider that negative. With DD, I had bloodwork done at somewhere between 8-10 DPO that was zero and I was obviously pregnant at that time.

I think 14.6 is awesome. Sounds to me like you will be getting to tell them that you were pregnant after all when your number doubles.

That is really weird they would say that when you're only 9dpo, I guess you'll be proving them wrong tomorrow

Anything over 5 but under 25 is called equivocal. It certainly means your pregnant. They are stupid. It requires a repeat but certainly not considered negative.
