Nope, me either!
My midwife only does them when there's reason (threat of miscarriage to see numbers, or past miscarriages).

OK phewww I thought I might have been left out lol. Ya, when I called to make my appointment they didn't mention coming in to get one so I figured all was normal.

I guess it's pretty normal then. Maybe some docs don't do them unless we request

I didn't with my first 2 babies, but after 2 miscarriages since then, I requested it be done. It isn't something that is normally done. So I guess consider yourself lucky you don't need one!

I've had 3 miscarriages and they still didn't request one. I guess I should stop worrying about everything and try not to stress.

I'm changing OBs this time do don't know what the new policies will be, but I never had any betas done when pregnant with DS.

I only have them because I'm high risk... more so due to progesterone! I think it's a good thing if you don't have to have them!!!

Mama to 3 boys and expecting #4 on 5/1/2013
14 DPO: HCG- 64.2 Progesterone:12.9
19 DPO: HCG- 887
Started progesterone supplements 8/28 (20 DPO)
27 DPO: HCG- 11,214 Progesterone: 15.8
1st U/S & 1st OB appointment- 9/10/2012 ~ HB 126 and baby looks good so far!!

Maybe I should have requested them because this time I am seeing a new doc. I'll see them on the 6th so they usually give dating ultrasounds. I won't worry for now and much as I can.

I didn't have a beta either. When I called they just scheduled me for my u/s appt on Sept 17th.

They are not commonly don't for regular low risk pregnancies. When you have had losses though they do them. Knowing doesn't change the outcome, but I still like knowing.
