I have never been an acne ridden person. Even as a teen i had near perfect skin. However, during pregnancy I break out like crazy! I guess it's payback for the perfect skin I had as a teen! lol!

I'be been having really bad breakouts as well. I'm getting tons of those awful and painful knots under the skin. As soon as one or two start to heal three or four more pop up. I was like this with DS until about eight weeks.

Me too. I have NEVER had acne. Up until i got pregnant I could count the number of pimples I have had on my fingers. Now I have like 7 and I am not even 6 weeks along. 34 more weeks of this? seriously?

I am breaking out worse than normal too. Is there anything we can ask the doc for to put on our skin? I thought someone mentioned something awhile back but I don't remember if it was here or on TTC?

I have always been acne prone but able to manage it with salicylic acid. Now that I can't use any products with that in it it's starting to get bad again. Any recommendations would be great!

It's so weird because I'm the exact *opposite* when I get pregnant. I always have such a oily face when I'm not pregnant, but the minute I get pregnant my face clears up and it always super soft. LOVE it!! It's one of my favorite things about being pregnant followed closely is my slow leg hair growth-- woot!

Pure organic coconut oil!!!! I buy it at the health food store. It does WONDERS for your skin, hair, nails, and the list of all of the other benefits is very long. This stuff is amazing. I take about 1 TBS a day. It is also a natural fat burner. Honestly, look it up online and you will be amazed. I was telling some of the other girls in TTC when I was there, and I found some other girls that used it to and they all agreed about how great it is

I'm not getting acne but my nose and cheeks are red. It's nice to look sun kissed in September in Minnesota!

I'm glad to see I'm not alone. My skin is usually acne free but when I first get pregnant I get very annoying outbreaks of acne.

I actually spoke to my dermatologist about this while trying to conceive. She said there are three things you can use: glycolic acid, topical clindamyic lotion and one other script I forgot the name. I am using clindamyacin cause I get horrible pregnancy acne.

I have coconut oil and used it topically. It didn't work for my acne but is great for my daughters eczema. I haven't used it internally tho and I have combo skin that is tricky so it is probably just me. It does feel good as a moisturizer.
