I seriously can't handle this all day nausea! It gets to the point where I cant even function. I called my doc and asked for some meds. My doc isn't in until tomorrow but the lady I talked to said she will leave a note for some Zofran. I hope it works!

Has anyone taken it before? Does it take it away completely?

I have only taken zofran for migraines and nausea but it din't really help me. But it was a different scenario. I have heard Reglan works well too, along with Zofran. Hope you feel better soon honey!

Thanks ladies! I sure hope it helps. Even if it takes the edge off that would be better than how I feel everyday all day now. Makes me happy that I know everything is progressing though

i think your doctor will give it to you if you feel like you need it's not like you must be so nauseous cause i knew someone who was given it and she would only be sick for a few hours a day

they tried to give me that and phenergan with my son when i was super sick but i couldn't get it down eventually i was on phenergan and it knocked me out so bad

Zofran is better than reglan. Reglan has been known to cause unfortunate emotional side effects. I have heard it makes you feel crazy.

it does work, make sure you load up on water while you're feeling good. Being hydrated really helps with the m/s because you lose so much fluids while being sick and it's hard to catch back up

I'm glad I'm not the only one because I can barely even function to take care of my daughter when it gets bad. I can't be like this for the next month or so! Lets hope it does wonders for me

My sister used Zofran throughout her pregnancy and raved about how much it helped. She loved it. I give it all the time to patients and there are very few that say it doesn't work. I've also given Reglan quite a bit, but usually after some type of abdominal surgery. Reglan helps by increasing the motility of the intestines which moves stuff through better and decreases nausea, but I typically had to give something else with it because it didn't really get rid of the nausea much.

Hope it helps. I have never had morning sickness this early and this bad with either of my other pregnancies. I haven't vommited yet, but the overwhelming nausea is getting old. I dont have my first official Dr's appt until Oct 3rd, so hopefully I can wait until then.

I hope it helps you. Some of the girls in my old DDC mentioned how much it helped them, so hopefully it does the same for you
