You get the normal pregnancy stuff, like nausea, and sensitivity to smell. But you get to add poopy diapers to it! Blech! Change my son's diaper this morning and it made me puke like crazy.

I am ready to be past the first trimester and get to the good part of the pregnancy!

Me too! I can't stand the smell of my son's poopy diapers, so I have to get my husband to change them now! The smell literally makes me gag now.

AMEN! I had to dump my toddlers little potty after she #2'd this morning. That was the worst.

It's also different because even if you have MS you HAVE to get up and take care of them no matter how bad you just need to lie down!

So hear you on the potty helping. Blech. My daughter still requires my help... and she stinks sometimes!

I'm watching a 3 month old until the holidays and it's definitely been more exhausting then I remember. He's a really good baby, but I'm looking forward to being done so I can sleep. Alexis is old enough that I could put a movie on for her and she'll sit and not get into stuff (she's better than my 5 year old). And Chloe is in school so yeah.... can't wait for that.

Totally agree! I haven't thrown up yet, but every time I change his diaper, the smell is just overwhelming. It never used to bother me before!

It is a lot harder. The most difficult thing for me is not being able to do what I know I need to do for my body. Like if I'm queasy and tired and I don't have the option to just go lay down or take a nap. No matter what I've still got DS to take care of and he's way too young to understand or be left to his own. I feel like I"m pushing myself rather than giving myself the leisure my body needs...if that makes since.

It totally makes sense. My son just decided to give up naps, right when I started really needing naps! It's exhausting! Sometime I take a short cat nap on the couch while he plays around me. Not very effective though since he keeps trying to get my attention.

Oh Erica I hear you there. DS and I are battling over his naps. I'm determined he WILL keep napping LOL! It's best for us both I tried to sneak a cat nap in on the couch yesterday during Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...it didn't work out so great.

There also isn't anything wrong with a little quiet time. Even if they don't nap, it still may be worth it to lay them down with some books or quiet toys, just to give momma a break. Both my 5 and 3 year old nap or take quiet time when we are at home. Most of the time they end up falling asleep anyway.
