I had an appointment this morning with my primary care doctor (OB is next Tuesday!) to check my vitals and make sure the medicine changes they made were going well.
I was really worried about my blood pressure, because even though my blood pressure isn't abnormally high without medication, I've been taking BP meds for the past few years because I used to have really high BP when I was heavier (I'm still overweight), heart problems run in the family, and I've had heart surgery. They changed my BP meds two weeks ago, and today my BP was PERFECT! It was a big relief. I also have a metabolic disorder that causes gout, and I had to go off that medicine. I haven't had much joint pain, so hopefully it will stay that way! There aren't any medicines I can take if I do have a gout attack...eek!
Anyway, they also took some urine and blood samples, but hopefully I won't hear from them (no news is good news)!
I treated myself to a small buffalo chicken sub (don't worry, DH, all the meat was thoroughly heated!) and have kept it down for two hours. Sorry if that makes anyone nauseous...but goodness gracious, that hit the spot. So good.
I also slept well last night, so I'm a happy gal right now.
