Oh Korrie, my dear girl. I am so sorry you are still in limbo but I am 100% optimistic.
When I went for my scan because I had brown spotting I thought all was ok and it took 3 techs to tell me that my baby had died. All 3 told me sternly to keep still and they found no movement, nothing after a long long time. With the tech you had saying its possible I would be very happy with that outcome.
You may have implanted later. Here in England they do not do a proper dating scan until 10-13 weeks. Before that its around so many weeks and give and take a week. When I went for my scan I was by my date 11 weeks 3 days, by the midwife date I was 10w4d and the baby was around 8.5 weeks she said. So her saying she might or might not see something is fantastic news. x

Agree w/ other ladies...this doesn't sound like bad news to me. At the size you were measuring, its not uncommon to not hear the HB. If you saw a flicker, then that is a definite positive sign! Try to remain optimistic and get plenty of rest, put your feet up! We are praying for you hon, hang in there!
I agree that it sounded like a very hopeful appointment! If they said she couldn't get a good visual then the measurement may be human error with not getting the right size. I know when I went for my ultrasound I was measuring 3 days behind and I was sure of my o date. When she went from another angle she was able to get the right measurement.
Hopefully in a couple weeks everything will have turned out fine and this will only be a memory for you Hang in there!
