It's funny because, when I was 17 I got my first job working as a preschool teacher's aid, and I had so much fun being a "kid" with the little ones, and during snacktime if it was my turn to prep the snack sometimes I'd sneak a few Goldfish crackers hehe...but now that I'm a SAHM I usually feel like I just want DS to go play quietly so I can have "grownup" time. I feel bad but when you're a mom 24/7 sometimes you feel a little adult-deprived! However, I do have fun indulging my son's playful nature and doing stuff like chocolate pudding-painting in the bathtub once in awhile (takes a bit of doing to clean it!). He did a really neat painting too, I'll have to share it...I masked out his name in tape and then let him use my acrylic paints to fill the rest of the paper up, then when it dried, I removed the tape. Voila! Art!
