I have had a series of my shattering headaches over the last month. I've tried lots of water and Tylenol but the only thing that ever helped me was a warm shower in a dark bathroom and then right to bed. No that it makes them go away but it relaxes me a little. Good luck my have passed for now but I still worry about them coming back.

I'm acing them too. Did he say what the cause is? I'm on day 5 of saving headaches toward the point of almost migraines and tears. Tylenol doesn't help much

My doc did say to try caffeine and that lack of caffeine even for this long could cause headaches, mine are more toward migraines.

I've been getting a lot of headaches and almost weekly migraines. They are not fun! My doctor said that he could prescribe something for me to take but I'm just really hesitant about taking any non-tylenol drugs right now. I've also tried drining a coke when I get a bad headache but I can't really say if it helped or not. Mostly, I just suffer through it and pray that it will go away!

My doctor said increased blood flow/volume causes headaches. Hormones don't help either.

I'm sorry for those of you who are suffering. I get mild headaches and resting/water/tylenol usually helps. I have had a few migraines that are just horrible and nothing helps them. Caffeine can help sometimes, too, like Rhea said. Headaches are just no fun.

I'm taking Tylenol 1 as recommended to me by my doctor since I do get migraines and can't take anything stronger for them I find it works way better than Tylenol, but you have to be careful with it since it has codeine in it.

I'm feeling your pain....literally!

You mean in the US... since technically Canada is part of "America" .. along with many other countries.. (Sorry, pet peeve of mine).

I only bring it up because the prescription can always be asked for, and it's something different than the regular tylenol that was brought up by OP
