Because mine completely skiped me and lost me somewhere in the zone of exhaustion!!
I have no energy at all and I am always fatigued! I am also mentally tired from work but I think it is pregnant related as well!!
I crawl myself out of bed, come to work, then once it's time to leave at 5pm I just have no energy left! Just want to go home and sleep!

I thought we were supposed to get a burst of energy during the second trimester!!!
My dad keeps asking me to get more excited/happy but it's not that I am not excited/happy, I am just sooo tired, I don't even have energy to be excited !!!

Anyone else find that their energy levels haven't really surge once you hit your second trimester?? I feel like face planting right now on my desk and going to sleep LoL

I'm feeling the same way lately. I'm just drained.

No energy here either. I've been making myself cook dinner everynight at least but thats about the extent of my activity after I get home. I'm pooped 24/7 it seems.

I wouldn't call it a surge but in the last couple of weeks I've definitely feel better. Still ready to pass out at 9pm but I am able to go go go all day and still feel pretty good.

Hope it gets better for you all soon!

Same here, trying to get motivated to do my school work is really hard too. On my days off I usually end up taking 1-2 hour long naps.

I'm not nearly as tired as I was during the first trimester, but I certainly wouldn't call it an energy burst. I can stay awake all day without a problem as long as I don't do much. Always in bed by 830 though. I just can't stay awake any later. I wake up at 5 or 6 am every day though so that may be why. I can make it about half a day out in town before I refuse to go on and have to rest. I might just be a lazy person though. Who knows.

I only work three days a week and we were going all weekend. So then I worked Monday and Tuesday and today I spent most of the day in bed, even if I wasn't sleeping, I just had no motivation to get up... I do feel better now that I have had a day to rest.

I feel that way too. With my first pregnancy my only symptom in my first trimester was pure and utter exhaustion!!!! It was terrible. This time I didn't really experience that as badly but I'm starting to feel really tired and lazy in the second trimester. Weird but all I want to do is nap!

I agree, I wish I had some surge of energy but I've been feeling tired a lot of the time. I do recall with DS that I never really got a "burst" of energy in the 2nd tri either. Just got a little less exhausted after the 1st trimester. Seems like this time around I'm so much bigger earlier too, and I feel tired lugging this belly around sometimes. *Sigh* it can only get worse from here too!

I was definitely still dragging my feet when I first entered the second trimester, and though my energy levels may have perked up a tad bit since then, I am still pretty tired for the most part ". I suppose staying up until the wee hours of the morning and coming off the recent holiday binging doesn't help matter much either, lol.
