Anyone else having the same gender for the third time? I know the chances of having the same gender gets smaller and smaller with each baby! Just wondering!

I know lots of people with one of a kind.

- 3 boys
- 2 boys and a baby boy on the way
- 3 boys and a baby boy on the way
- 3 girls
- 3 girls
- girl then twin girls
- 5 boys
- girl, girl, twin girls

I'm sure there are more, these are just off the top of my head!

I had to look at the responses here. I'm expecting my second boy and I get so many negative comments that it's really really obnoxious. Are any of you experiencing this? Whenever anyone asks what we have at home and what we're expecting and my answer is boy to each, the immediate response is always "Are you disappointed?" or "I'm sorry, you can try again". I mean....really!?!

I have gotten the "im sorrys" before its really annoying. Even just asking the question if we are trying again is annoying.

I definitely have felt a twinge of jealousy when seeing ladies in here that are having little girls. I really really wanted a girl. But I am going to hope to try again and see if the third is a girl. I'm happy to be meeting my little baby boy in about 4 months, though.

I haven't gotten any "I'm sorry's", but I have had people say "so I guess you'll be trying for #4?"......ummmmmm, NO...not a chance! I don't want 4 kids!!!! It's annoying, it's like people think we need a boy to complete our family. All we wanted was 3 kids.

I did feel a bit sad at first because I realized I'll never experience having a son (I felt so different this time, both DH and I were SURE this was a boy). After 2 days of being a bit sad though, I got over it, and I can't WAIT to meet her. I can't wait until she's here and our family is complete!

when I was pregnant with #2 everyone was like, "so I bet you want a boy this time" and I would say "well we don't really care either way, a girl would be more convenient though" because if it was a girl I didn't want people to think we wanted a boy. it kinda backfired on me though because until recently DH's step-grandmother would always say "and you thought you couldn't love a boy" whenever I was holding my son. which was soooooo not what I would have ever said, I knew of course I would love him, she just twisted my words. then this time when she found out we were having a boy she said "oh, I was hoping for a girl, but that's okay"

when DS was an infant we ran into someone at walmart who said "so you finally got your boy, eh?" to my DH. I was very confused, we only had one daughter and one son, so I don't see how he "finally" got "his" boy. sheesh.

We've always known that we want two children if its possible for is to have them. I've never worried about what sex they would be. I'm overjoyed to be having a son and if we are blessed again ill take whatever is meant for is to have.

4th baby here, 4th boy!
I have people all the time say stuff about it..
"oh are you going to keep having kids until you get a girl??"
I have always wanted 4 kids, or more... so it is annoying when people assume I am only having kids to get a girl.
I mean really!?
I love my boys!!! And honestly I feel blessed that I am going to have all the same sex, should be a fun childhood full of craziness.
I have people who say they prayed I would have a girl...
uhhh why!? I never said pray I have a girl.
It gets SO annoying.

I can totally relate and it is a super pet peeve of mine. I have 4 boys and DH and I are honestly hoping for a 5th! We won't be disappointed if we have a girl because it'll be new and different and exciting, but we LOVE our boys, so why wouldn't we want more?

I am so afraid of what people are going to say to me if we have a girl. And we don't know what we're having this time so the suspense is killing me.

I have gotten that I few times I have one boy, and another on the way. Most people now this will be our last and I can't stand when people say "oh that's too bad! you will never have a girl!" It drives me nuts.

people are insensitive. I am happy to be having another boy and I still want a girl but not sure if I want 4 kids. Dh is 1 of 5 kids and his sister is the oldest and the rest were boys. He always talks about how much fun his childhood was and my mother in law said she enjoyed the boys and was happy she only had one girl
