A double stroller, newborn cloth diapers and a sling to carry baby in.

The only other things I plan to buy is an additional video monitor for our system, a few (more summery) pieces of clothing and a nursing cover. Everything else we can re-use from Gabriel.

Of course clothes are a given since this is essentially the first girl in our family since I was born, lol. I swear DH is even getting into shopping for his little princess! ;P We managed to get a number of items second-hand for pretty cheap which helped a lot (crib, play yard, diaper genie). We got our crib mobile and bedding set for a steal at Ross (less than $45 for a $180+ set!), and we will be using DS' old changing table/dresser for the new baby and will get him a new big boy dresser to replace it . I'm also going to go through DS' old baby clothes and pull out all the neutral pieces so I can use that for DD as well. The only big things we're really missing are the carseat and stroller, but I've got a set picked out that I hope my parents won't mind footing the bill for ". All the other essential items like towels, blankets, etc. are on our baby registry so hopefully we'll be gifted most of them. If not, it's no biggie for us to go out and buy a couple ourselves. I think next month we will probably start stocking up on diapers .

I haven't purchased anything but I have started collecting clothes. I have quite a bit of sleepers and onesies for the beginning.

We have a bunch of cute onesies & outfits, a blanket, a Rock 'n Play Sleeper, a diaper bag and some changing pads. Most of which showed up in the mail from excited family members. We're waiting until we move next month to really dive into preparing the nursery. I seriously can't wait to get started! We've picked out a lot of things for the registry.

I've bought mostly clothes and a couple of cute baby things. I am going to wait to see what I get for my shower before I really go crazy...plus we may be moving, so I don't want to get any furniture until that happens

We have some stuff from DD like a swing, jumper, in bed cosleeper, etc.

For him we've bought room decoration stuff... posters, toybox, dresser/closet stuff, curtains, themed plush dolls, night light, and fabric for his comforter his mini mancave is almost done!

we want to buy a carseat and his coming home outfit. My mom is throwing me a shower though and I was not expecting it so hopefully he gets clothes because I hate clothing shopping.

I already have a lot of the gear (swing, bouncer, PNP, carseat, etc) but obviously need all new nursery stuff and clothing. So far we've only bought him 2 onesies and a pair of pants, and a 2 pack of NB pacis. A friend also bought us 2 onesies. I have a lot left to buy, obviously!

A little of everything from nursery furniture and decor to clothes and diapers. I've kind of backed off a little until after the shower. I'll go get everything else I need after we see what we get.

DH is making me wait until after our shower to buy anything. Hrmph. But really, that's the way to do it if you're having a shower and this is your first.

We've already received a ton of stuff from both grandmas and my SIL. I've bought a few things-some clothes at a consignment shop, a little airplane teether, binkies...not much. Not more than $25 or so.

I just bought a bunch of Carter's footed cotton onesies in several different sizes, some summer rompers, and a sun hat...I also bought some pacifiers, a pacifier clip, Balmex, a girly changing pad cover, and two Halo sleep sacks!

My parents bought us the crib/bedding, and we bought a big package of diapers last weekend. Other that that, we registered for most everything else. We'll see after our showers what we have/don't have and go from there I envy those that are already super prepared! You go
