Had a regular appointment today, I'm 25 1/2 week along so I had my glucose screen and whooping cough vaccine. I'm measuring right inline. I found out that my weight is right on track, I've gained 7 pounds during my pregnancy. I was able to talk about my kidney concerns (muscle spasms) and had my cervix checked (perfect). I will be induced at 39 weeks which means my doc should be the OB to deliver my Brock. Seems like in spite of aches and pain things are going well, I couldn't be happier.
That's so great to hear. Just out of curiosity, why are they inducing at 39 wks?
And so the kidney concerns are just muscle spasms then? Hope you've been feeling better.
I'm being induced because of a med I'm on called lovenox. I hate multiple m/c and they found an issue with my blood clotting. Doc thinks that the "tingle" when I urinate is caused by the weight of my uterus. The pain that is in the kidney area does appear to be pulled muscles (I have one on each side also, they are in a frequent spasm). All in all I feel pretty good, a few hours a day or so I'm pretty sore.
Good to know! I wasn't aware you were taking Lovenox shots. I was close to having to take them myself, but I skated out of it, thank goodness. I had a blood clot in my lung about a year ago and so they were wanting to have me on a prophylaxis of the blood thinners during this pregnancy, but since I tested out of having any blood clotting disorder, I got lucky and didn't have to take them. I bet they're a real pain! I'm glad you're doing ok though!
