I've been wanting sweet things badly as well. I gained a lot between my two app'ts though (between the Dec and Jan app't, thanks to Christmas baking, I gained I think 8lbs.....not good), so I've been TRYING to watch what I eat lately. I don't want another weight jump that big over 4 weeks.
I eat cereal, carrots and hummus, strawberries with a bit of sugar, toast with peanut butter. Those are my main snacks. What I WANT is ice cream, cookies and chocolate!
I get a yuck feeling after eating too much sugar, so I know I shouldn't, but I do anyway.
GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!!! You totally just reminded me they're supposed to be selling them in this area now. I've gotta find a kid!!!
As far as sweets, I can't help you. I eat what I want otherwise I just dwell on it for days until I finally break down and eat it anyway. I've got less than 4 months of this baby excuse to eat what I want and I plan to use it to the fullest. I do try to eat a lot of fruit every day though since I gained 12 lbs Dec-Jan and that tends to keep the cravings to a minimum. I also have some chocolate rice cakes i put peanut butter on for breakfast. It's delicious. I am going to have to get some vanilla ice cream to go with my chocolate syrup in the fridge though. That's been calling my name for several weeks.
