So my craving for sweets have been kicking in for a few days now. But I have managed to stay away.
My food would be applesauce.

But thats not doing it for me.

Whats something sweet but not junk food?

I literally want candy, cookies, the bag of sugar with chocolate... Lol

HELP!!

Granola is great! I make it myself but you can also buy it. The dried fruit is sweet but not bad for you and if you make it yourself you can add a little chocolate to it.

Plain yogurt with fruit and honey. Apricot-applesauce. Bread/tortillas with peanut butter and honey or nutella. Dates. Haagen Dazs coffee ice cream (this doesn't make my "junk food" list ).

ugh.. i have been craving and eating sweets for weeks now: chocolate, mocha, cinnamon rolls and lately (for the last two days) baklava.

Be better and healthier than me and go the healthy route. At my appointment today, I have gained 15 lbs in less than two months :O I am quitting all that junk and starting with fruit from now on..

You could look for something that has a nice punch of protein with some chocolate in it, like a granola bar with nuts and good stuff and a little chocolate. What about a trail mix, with fruit and nuts and a little chocolate in it? That way you can get some sweets but you'll have a nice protein kick to offset it and help you stay feeling full longer.

Dang it!!! Now I just want EVERYTHING listed!!! Hahaha I need a straight jacket and some healthy food.

I found some yogurt (plain) and added mandarins to it. That settled it for awhile

Try Luna Bars. They are delish, but also good for you compared to eating cookies and other crap. I've been having a Luna Protein bar ever afternoon when I want something sweet and it totally helps my cravings. Also...fruit Popsicles, fudge pops, low fat pudding, smoothies, or try a small piece of really good quality dark chocolate. Not sure where you live, but here in LA the stores have started carrying strawberries that are from Chile and they are unbelievable!

You could always try something that's more like a hard candy, but with chocolate, like say Nips candies, they have a hard candy shell and a smooth inside. Then you have to work on it for awhile but you still get that nice taste of chocolate. It might satisfy the craving somewhat while still not being very many calories.

Lol Joy you stole the babys dad idea. He was here for dinner. And my sweet tooth was going crazy.
He said he would put chocolate in those doggie balls. Idk if you seen them. They put peanut butter in the ball and the dog works really hard to get the peanut butter out. By the time they get to the peanut butter, my dog is to tired and just forgets about the peanut butter. Lol

Frosted mini wheats! I've been eating less because even one regular serving helps me feel full for longer.

Haha Nasha! That's too funny. I can imagine you working on that thing like a dog would. Hehe! I know if that was my only way to get chocolate, I would sure give it a good shot at getting to it! LOL

I eat a piece of dark chocolate every night for my sweet craving. I don't usually like sweets but this last 2 weeks, been craving sweets.
I know it has tons of calories and fat BUT also has alot of good antioxidants so I don't feel bad about it.
It's like eating Olive oil ( which I love) yes, has lots of fat but its Healthy fat, and to me, the healthy benefits outweight the fat/calories in my opinion so I eat lots of bread dipped in pure virgin olive oil
Same with dark chocolate, the darker the better It has antioxidants you don't really can get anywhere and it's really good for your health - just control your portions, don't eat an entire box of chocolates ( like my hubbie)
I swear, at times, I think he is the one who is pregnant!!!
