I haven't gained any weight since my last appt! I'm excited about that, because I gained fast at first, but looks like I'm slowing down just like I did with my pregnancy with Ethan. I know I'll still need to gain some weight at the end but for now I'm happy to just be maintaining! And no, I'm not saying this to make anyone feel bad! Just wanted to share.

Fantastic! I'm the opposite. I started out really slow, but now am going at an alarming rate. 7 lbs in less than a month! Lol.

YAY!!!! that's great news. At my last appt my doc said "congratulations you only gained 1 lb!!!" because at the december appt, I had gained 5 and she told me to watch it! (That was right after my food aversions let up ) Hope we both maintain til more toward the end now!

Good for you! Although in your second trimester the guidelines say 1-2 lbs a week, so I would wonder why your doc frowned on 5 lbs in a month's time. You have no worries girl!

Well didn't you have hyperemesis at first? I think you're just making up for it

Weight gain is such a difficult thing with pregnancy. Either you gain to much or not enough, you cant win either way. I think were all doing a great job growing our babies. We should all be very proud of ourselves!!!!

My doc likes to push the 20-35lb weight gain and tries to scare people by saying we'll end up with big babies. When I jumped from 126lbs-131 in a month she said to watch what I'm eating because I still had a long time to go. I was worried about it anyway because I don't want to go over what I did with DD. I really want to get back in shape after this kid and do not want a big baby at all. I know you guys all said that weight gain doesn't seem to produce big babies, but i'd rather play it safe.... plus, there's no reason except for being unhealthy, that I should gain more than 30 lbs (I think)

14 weeks to go Joy!!!
