Mine are pretty much non-existent right now! DH promised that we can start planning the nursery by this weekend so I am waiting to see if he holds up to his promise. I've been slowly building a cloth diaper stash through diaperswappers and other good deals that I am finding and I have bought a few clothing items but I don't want to go overboard since we are having a shower in March. I haven't even done a registry yet, though!

How are things going with the rest of you ladies?

I'm waiting until I it trimester three in early March. I have sorted my son's baby clothes and taken inventory of what I need. During spring break, I plan to nest.

They aren't coming at all. I have my 13 cloth diapers and, for now, that's pretty much it. Thinking about the future sends me into a bit of a panic, so for now I'm not worrying about it.

We're getting there..the nursery is painted and mostly done, just need the glider and that is done. Now, as far as anything else goes...he has no clothes, no diapers, no bottles..none of the essentials. We too have a shower in Feb and March, so I'm hoping we'll get what we need and can buy from there. I feel so unprepared though and I don't like it!

I have NOTHING!!
Lol it's hard to start. I'm not finding out gender till birth and I really want my child to have specific colors if its a boy or girl.
I don't want to play around with the yellows and greens and those non gender specific colors.

We have not started anything yet. That baby's room is where the office is right now, so DH and I will start framing out walls in the basement soon so we can move the office down there. I really can't do anything until that is done. I have not done a registry yet either.

Yikes so much to do!!! Still need to buy all of my cloth diapers. Still need to move my oldest boys into their new room, then I can actually start fixing up the room for the two youngest (my toddler and baby on the way)
So I still need to buy two twin beds, and a couple dressers for the oldest,
Still need to organize the clothes and figure out which ones I can use again... they are sitting in bins because I need a dresser and have no room right now!!
I am in the mood to organize but dont have what i need or the energy....
I am STRESSED!
I have a friend due exactly MONTH after me and she already painted her nursery and has all her clothes organized for the baby and hung up...
ugh

My first son was born at 35 weeks.
Cant help but think what would happen if i had this one at 35 weeks?! that would be less than 9 weeks from now...

Im about half way done. I was doing really well but my ob wants.me to take it easy. If i do to much i get crampy and start spotting, this has definatly slowed my progress. I do have the first 3 months of clothes washed and put away and once we switch rooms with my kids we can set up the furniture we have.

the only thing I need is a travel system for the beginning. there are other baby things I need that aren't going to be used immediately (like a high chair). oh, I need a bath tub too.

I have a crib, mattress, change table, swing, play pen, clothes, and a few diapers. the crib is set up and so is the change table, although the bottom two sections of the change table is used as toy storage but that's probably how it will be anyway because my son will likely pull everything off of the table anyway. the top part will be used for diaper and wipe storage, and i will have a change pad handy but i usually just change the babies on my bed or the couch anyway.

oh, and I need a dresser. I should make a list, I guess!

Totally non-existent. I am slolwy buying the few extra things I want here and there but I've done nothing at home to prepare. Thankfully the nursery is already done from DS and was left untouched but it's currently being used as a guest room. I really need to go through the huge dresser and closet and clean everything out as it's being used as storage currently. I also need to go through DS' clothes and figure out how much stuff I need since this baby will be born during a different season. All of that will take some time so I need a full day by myself at home to conquer it. After that all that's left to do is touch up paint and put the crib back up.

Uh, we're supposed to prepare?

The room that will be that baby's room has been cleared out (which meant moving everything out of the dining room area into storage, painting that space, moving the office stuff into the dining area....). We bought the paint for the walls, but haven't started on that yet.

The crib is sitting in pieces in a box in my living room. The dresser has become a makeshift 'stuff collector' in the kitchen.

That is it. Oh, I spent a gift card at BRU and different kinds of pacifiers and a SwaddleMe.

Next month I'll be buying the travel system + crib mattress + swing.

Then I have to start getting clothes together..my mom has bought us a bunch so far (from 0-3 up to 24 months, a few things for each size), but I know we need more onesies. However, since the shower is AFTER the baby is born, we're kind of on our own to get everything we need.

Clothes-wise, diaper-wise (cloth), and room-wise we are pretty good. Kieran is still in that room, but his stuff is all moved over to Liam's room. I just don't want to move his crib til we HAVE to (he already isn't the best sleeper).

I went today to try and find fabric for curtains and a bed skirt for her room (which is not being repainted, just given some more girly touches) but didn't find anything I like. So I'll keep looking.

All the baby stuff is in the attic, it will only take a day or two to get it down and set up what we plan to use.

I feel okay about where we are. I do have plenty to do before she comes, but I feel like I have plenty of time. Even if she came as early as Liam did, I still have a solid three months (due toward the end of the month).

I have a crib with no mattress, a dresser with a couple of outfits in it, a diaper bag and a stroller. My son came at 32 weeks, shop I am coming close to panic mode. LOL

Pretty slow! We have started working on the nursery, but DH needs to completely re-hang the shelves in the closet because they were done totally wrong by the person who lived here before us, and he has to patch all the little holes in the walls (for pictures I guess) before we can paint. We HAVE chosen our paint, so once the mudding/sanding is done, we can finally paint. It's taking longer because we're doing my oldest daugher's room too - so her whole closet needed an overhaul, and the holes in her room needed to be mudded/sanded too. Two rooms at a time takes way more time!

I have sorted somewhat through baby clothes, I don't need anything, but I do need to organize them. I can't do that until she has a dresser though.

The bassinet is out and is in our room, but it's totally taken apart and the fabric needs to get washed since it's been in storage for a couple years now.

Lots to do!

Glad Im not the only one! Pretty much NOTHING done! With the room situation: we have to move my older son into the smaller room then my younger one into the older ones room because the 2 youngest will be sharing. Havent even started that. We have to paint too. Dont know when this is all getting done. My husband is a jack of all trades but SLOWWWWWWW at getting things started, let alone done! I figure baby will be in my room anyway for a while. I still need just about everything for baby though. Getting kind of nervous as the time goes by. So much to do and get, so little time!

I have the nursery all planned out in my head (and pinned on Pinterest, of course) but nothing actually physically done yet. Hunting season just ended, so DH knows what his weekends will consist of for the next few months. Mwahaha.

I plan on just buying the big pieces (crib, dresser/changing table) and getting those ready. We'll register next weekend, and will buy whatever we still need after my shower in March. I'm trying to be zen about this whole process, but I'm getting a little...itchy. I want it all to be done NOW!

I haven't been able to start yet, either (heck, I'm not even living in my own apartment until a few days from now). The only things I have are a few clothes and other small items that I got from my small baby shower before we left the U.S. Technically I don't even have those because they will need to be shipped to us. It makes me feel better that other people haven't started yet, either. I'm not even sure what all I'll need to be prepared!

I have the registry done, but my shower isn't going to be until the end of March. We are waiting to see what we get from the shower before we buy too many things. We have some clothing, A&D ointment (yes! we got it free when we registered at Babies R us!), books, a pacifier (also free...lol). We are still up in the air about whether or not we will be moving, so we are kinda stuck right now. We don't want to set everything up and then have to move it if we don't have to...but I am ready to pull the trigger when the time is right! It's been so hard to wait though.

Baby's man cave is almost done. We have his coming home outfit headed to us in the mail as we speak. We are counting on the shower to help us out with other clothes and maybe diapers. We have everything else we need and are almost ready!
