Just curious, if you are planning to deliver at a hospital, how far are you from the hospital? We're about a 25 minute drive, if we are not driving during rush hour.

Kind of funny but once we move into our new home in the next month we will be about an hour from where I'm delivering. There is also a wonderful hospital right across the street from our new house in case of emergency.

30-35 minutes from my house unless it's at during school drop off or pick up times. Then it's about 45 minutes.

about 30 minutes with no traffic. with traffic, 45-60 minutes.

I'm not going to lie, I am worried about the trip. we were only at the hospital just over an hour when my son was born, so we could be cutting it very close if we get stuck in traffic.

My saving grace is my husband is an EMT and I ride free with the company he works for. So if we get stuck I'll just call for them to meet us and get there before baby pops out hopefully.

Oh man, do you have concerns about the distance? I was originally going to deliver about 40 minutes away, but switched doctors and moved and will be at the hospital about 2.5 minutes from my house now!

Too bad you can't get a police escort! I bet if you had to, you could call 911 and they could get you there pretty quick.

One mile it's just the next street over!

So I will try to labor as long as possible at home before heading over.

35 miles so about 45 minutes or so. I do have a hospital closer but my Dr. doesn't deliver there unless it's a c-section.

It's a 25-30 minute drive without traffic and 40-45 minute drive with traffic. I'd rather give birth at home than the one that's closer to my house.

I'm 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic. There's a closer hospital (about 10 minutes away), but my OB doesn't deliver there, and I don't want to deliver there anyway.

We are 45 min no traffic and up to 2 hours depending on atlanta traffic. I am pretty anxious about the drive. Please God let this baby either come in the middle of the day or the middle of the night so there won't be any traffic. Fingers crossed!

we're 10 minutes away.

We went to the hospital to have DD at 1:00 in the morning so I think it took less than 5 minutes to get there. It could have been less but we hit a red light after we got off the interstate! Of all the things about L&D that stress me out, I'm really glad getting to the hospital isn't one of them. I hope we all make it in time.
