I had my appt this morning and while my blood pressure has been fairly steady at 130/80, it jumped to 144/92 today. I had to get some stat blood tests done and go back into my ob Friday just for blood pressure readings. If its still high, I'll have to quit working this Friday instead of the 26th as planned. Totally bummed. At least I started training my replacement today!!

I have preggo induced hypertension but I've been lucky enough to stay off meds. As of Sunday I started swelling up pretty badly, I'm figuring my doc might have me do another 24hour urine to check for preeclampsia. Good luck to you, how it gets under control for you quickly.
I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Did they recheck it at the office after it was high to see if it went down before you left? Hopefully it's just a temporary high and will be back to normal Friday.
I have pre-e but they pretty much treat it the same with PIH from what I understand. My bp stays 130-140/90's. I have to have BPP's once a week and see the perinatologist every 2 weeks. My doc said to call if my bp is over 160 on top or over 110 on bottom. Other than that he's just watching it till 38 weeks and will deliver then. I hope you don't have PIH, but if you do I imagine they would treat that about the same way.
I have to monitor my pressures and if my bottom is over 100 for 1 hour I have to go in, same if the top stays over 160 for over 1 hour. I know when it's going up. I have silver spots in front of my eyes. I am also in the hospital twice a week for AFI/NST.
