I just ordered a Calin Bleu Gauze Wrap in Summer Breeze. It gets so hot and humid here that babywearing can be so uncomfortable. I am hoping that this helps with that. I also have an organic Moby wrap that I am hoping will still be wearable come fall. I sold all my other carriers last summer in a cleaning frenzy and have been trying to figure out how I wanted to go about building a small stash since this is last baby. I can't wait to get my new wrap in!
I ended up getting a Moby Wrap and a Baby Bjorn (both at a kids' resale shop) this week... I'm curious to see how they work out. I'd like to think I won't need anything else now that I have these guys. But I can definitely see how the Moby would get pretty warm. Hope it works out for you in the summer!
I have never used a gauze wrap before. I have had several babyhawks, maya ring slings, peanut shells, hotslings, and a baby bjorn though. I likes those but they are all so hot. I am going to get a wrapsody bali breeze as soon as I figure out which color I like. I have read so many good things. I figure I can always sell them if they don't work out.
My best friend had two Moby Wraps she wasn't using...one was black and one was a light green color and she said I could have one if I wanted. I chose the black one before I thought about the heat, and regretted my choice a little while later. :/
